Swim PBs

In short

Swim PBs has no account and collects nothing. What you enter stays on your phone. The developer never receives it.

What stays on your phone

Swimmers' names, dates of birth, categories and membership numbers; their PBs; your favourites and settings. It is saved on this phone only, and included in your own device backups.

What the app downloads

Once per launch, the app downloads the current list of qualifying meets and swimwear offers from api.swimpbs.uk. These are public files; nothing about you or your swimmers is sent.

What leaves your phone, only when you ask

Fetch PBs sends the membership number you typed to swimmingresults.org and reads that swimmer's public PB page; that site's own privacy policy applies. Tapping the swimwear banner opens the retailer in Safari, where the retailer and its affiliate network may record the visit. Send feedback opens your mail app with a draft you choose whether to send.

No tracking

No analytics, no advertising SDK, no tracking across apps or websites. The banner is a plain list of retailers, not an ad network.

Purchases

The Remove ads + widget purchase is handled by Apple. The developer never sees your payment details.

Children

Swim PBs is often used by or for young swimmers. Because it collects no personal information, nothing about a child is ever sent to the developer.

This website

swimpbs.uk sets no cookies and runs no analytics. It and api.swimpbs.uk are served by Cloudflare, which processes requests to deliver them.
